Decorating for Valentine’s day doesn’t have to be complicated. I’m going to give you 5 simple ways to decorate for Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day is in just a few days. If you haven’t decorated for Valentine’s Day but would like and don’t really feel like going all out like cupid, here are 5 simple ways to decorate for Valentine’s Day.
5 Simple Ways to Decorate for Valentine’s Day
Christmas Decor
I know I know, you just packed up your Christmas decor, right? Well dig through those boxes and pull it back out. Surely you have some red items in your Christmas decor that would cross over from Christmas. For example, the pom pom garlands below were used in my Christmas decor and they work for Valentine decor too!
Pink
Adding pink for Valentine’s decor is easier than you might think. You can bring in some pink flowers, add pink straws to your coffee station, or a candy dish with pink candy.
Printables
Framing printables is a super easy way to add a touch of Valentine’s to your decor. There are many free ones available out there. Just print and slide into a frame for quick and easy decor. (Side note: sign up for my newsletter and receive access to my printable freebies archives)
Hearts
This is stating the obvious but there are so many ways to add hearts into your decor that aren’t necessarily Valentine’s Day specific. The wooden heart pictured below was in our Master Bedroom.
Garlands or Banners
Garlands are universal. You can use garlands in your every day decor or you can create or buy color specific garlands for holidays. Garlands using pom poms or tassels are pretty popular right now and they are so easy to make. There are many free printable banners on Pinterest and Target almost always has them in the dollar spot.
Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? Do you go all out or keep it simple?
