I’ve been struggling lately with the slow moving progress of decorating our home, inside and out. We’ve had to cut back a little so my decorating budget has taken a hit.
We are approaching the 3 year mark of the day we lost our home so to try to cheer myself up, I decided to take a look at how far we’ve come in the past two years since we moved back into our newly re-built home.

I am making forward progress on the other rooms one piece of decor at a time. We need a few more pieces of furniture and I feel, a whole lot more accessories. There are still blank walls and bare surfaces so I keep moving around the accessories we do have.
With our decor budget being extra tight right now I’ve been shopping out of our barn…seeing if I can find any decor, recovered from the tornado debris, that I can fix up and re-purpose. The good thing is, it’s forcing me to be thrifty and think outside the box. Thankfully, I love to DIY.
