We are finally starting to feel and see signs of Fall around here!
I finally got around to putting out my Fall décor but then my girls demanded I decorate for Halloween instead. I don’t normally decorate for Halloween but when I had four blue-eyed puppy dog eyes staring up at me I just couldn’t resist.
We had a box of Halloween décor but it got blown away along with all of our other holiday decorations so we had to go do a little shopping. We are starting out small but I’m sure we will add to the Halloween décor a little every year.
Thanks to Hobby Lobby’s 40% of sale, Dollar Tree crafts and a little bit of my own craftiness, we managed to make parts of the house look a little like Halloween.
I think the girls’ favorite part of this mantle was the eyes I stuck on the fireplace glass. They thought it was hysterical. All I did was cut 2 ovals out of white cardstock and glued on 2 black circles also cut from cardstock….added a little bit of tape to the backs of each one and stuck them on the fireplace!
To make this mason jar mummy, all you have to do is wrap some white gauze around the jar, stick on some googly eyes and stick an LED tealight inside. So easy!
