I can’t believe tomorrow is the first day of fall. Where did Summer go and why did it have to go by so fast?!
With temps in the 90’s this week (we were actually under a heat advisory yesterday), it certainly still feels like Summer but I know many of us are anxiously awaiting cooler temps.
I know how busy Summer can be and reading blogs is usually last on your list so I thought before we head into the Fall season, we would take a look back at the posts from this Summer on embellish*ology.

Before the real Summer heat hit, I completed the TV wall in our family room. I loved how it turned out and haven’t looked back!
For the 4th of July, I posted a tutorial on how to make patriotic pinwheels. All the kids in my family loved these. They also worked perfectly for my patriotic decor!
By mid July, we finally finished the remodel of the girls’ playhouse exterior. I plan to work on the interior this fall when the weather is a bit cooler.
August was all about back to school. I spent most of the first part of the month getting everything organized. All remaining school papers from last year were sorted and filed away and new folders were purchased and labeled. I shared about how I organize school papers HERE.
We also put together our homework station and snack station.
Since Fall is a season of gratitude, I just want to thank you for reading this little blog of mine. I have lots of fun posts planned for the rest of the year and hope you continue to come back to see what’s new.
Happy Fall Y’all!
