If you are looking for fun, simple and very inexpensive Halloween table decor ideas for kids, you’ve come to the right place!
I’ve already shared my dining room Halloween table so I thought I would share some simple ideas to create a cute but not creepy Halloween kids table!
Target Dollar Spot for the Win!
I had almost every thing for this table. The only thing I purchased were the bat and jack-o-lantern plates from the Target dollar spot. I like to keep things super budget friendly around here. Gotta save those pennies for Christmas this time of year!
For the table I started with a drop cloth table cloth that I already had. Then for the centerpiece base I used black gauze and layered on the decor. For a little bit of height I placed a glitter pumpkin on a black candlestick. The mummy lantern and jar mummy added some cute but not creepy Halloween characters. I purchased the EEK letters in the dollar spot a couple of years ago. I made the ‘boo’ sign last year. The jack-o-lantern candy dish, along with a few strategically placed spider rings balanced out the orange in the centerpiece.
I didn’t have any Halloween placemats so I just grabbed some orange and black cardstock from my scrapbooking stash. The paper cups, straws, napkins and utensils came from my ever growing party supply stash.
And because I cannot go without having a backdrop, I found the ‘Happy Halloween’ banner that I made a few years ago and hung it across the gallery wall. With some webbing and some more plastic spider rings the backdrop was complete!
My girls have not yet seen this set up because I plan to surprise them with it on Halloween. I’ve never done any kind of holiday table for them so I’m sure they’re going to get a big kick out of it.
