These Keto fried chicken nuggets are just as good as my non-keto version. Even my kids approve!
In my family, we love chicken nuggets. Like looooove chicken nuggets.
When we switched to Keto, one of the first recipes I tried to figure out was how to make our beloved Oven Fried Chicken Nuggets in a Keto friendly way. Thankfully, it was pretty easy to figure out. All I did was switch the regular flour for super fine almond flour. Of the few I’ve tried, this one is our favorite so far and the price can’t be beat!
This “fried” chicken can be done in the oven or the air fryer. I just got this air fryer and I absolutely love it! I’ve made this chicken both ways and have included directions below for both.
Favorite Ways to Eat Keto Fried Chicken
I make this keto fried chicken into nuggets and sometimes I use tenders. We like to eat them with dipping sauce, in wraps (with low carb tortillas or lettuce) or on salads.
Our favorite dipping sauce is, of course, Chick-Fil-A sauce but that’s not really keto so no dipping sauce for Mr. Embellishology and myself. The girls, however, raided the secret stash of CFA sauce in the fridge and now the stash has been depleted. My goal is to try making a keto version in the near future. A girl’s gotta have her CFA sauce!
When we use the keto fried chicken on salads, it’s usually a Cobb salad. Its our favorite! Bacon, eggs and cheese are our favorite toppings Broccoli has recently been a favorite as well. Ranch is our favorite dressing but if we have any avocado ranch, that’s my favorite!
