Welcome to my Easter and Spring decor home tour where I used simple and inexpensive decor to create bright and colorful spaces.
We’ve been in our house for almost two years now and I’m still working on decorating the house so my seasonal and holiday decor (except for maybe Christmas) is very modest.
A lot of my seasonal and holiday decor has come from the Target Dollar Spot lately. They’ve had so much cute stuff lately and they are marketing geniuses putting the Dollar Spot right as you walk in the door. Darn you Target!
To start the Spring decor tour, lets start in the entryway.
I picked up the Flowers & Garden galvanized bucket a week or so ago. I need to fill it up with some pretty flowers….maybe some tulips or Gerbera daisies (they’re my favorite). Do you recognize the greenery arrangement? The white bunnies came from the Dollar Spot a few years ago. I bought them to use for my girls Onederland Birthday party and they work perfectly for my Easter decor.
Moving on to the kitchen…
This centerpiece is the only decor in my kitchen. I already had some plastic eggs that I purchased on clearance after Easter last year so I came up with the idea to make a cake stand nest. Did you know cake stands are great for holiday and even every day decor!
Here’s another cake stand nest. This one is in our family room. The two wooden bunnies were the only Easter decorations that were able to be salvaged from our previous house.
I designed this peeps printable last year. If you sign up for my newsletter, you can get access to this printable and many more in my archives. I try to add new printables monthly.
Loving the Spring decor on my mantle this year. The mason jars with the flower stems just give me all the heart eyes! The mason jars will be staying up there for quite a while. They just make our Family Room feel so cheery!
I did pick up a couple of items at Hobby Lobby last year….on sale, of course, like the wooden sign up above. Guess where those grass covered bunnies came from. If you guessed Dollar Spot, you would be correct!
Just in case you haven’t had enough of the turquoise jars, lets take one more look. I think they’ll be staying there at least until fall….maybe even longer. Some sunflowers or branches with leaves would work for fall don’t ya think?
