These fun valentine treat bags will have the kids exploding with excitement!
When I dreamed up this idea for these valentine treat bags, I wanted to use the snack size Rolo candies to make the “TnT” but after hunting for them all over town and online, I discovered that they have been discontinued. Soooo, my philosophy when it comes to crafts and being creative is “If you can’t find it, or don’t have it, make it!” and that’s exactly what I did. Following my own philosophy, I made my own miniature rolls of Rolo candy.
You are da BOMB Valentine Treat Bags
To assemble these Valentine treat bags, you will need the following:
- You are da BOMB printable kit.
- Snack size Ziploc baggies
- Adhesive (I used Glue Dots)
- Individually wrapped Rolos (or any miniature rolled candy if you can find it)
Print as many of the bag toppers that you need on white cardstock and the ‘TnT’ wrappers on printer paper (thinner paper is easier to wrap around the candy, trust me on this). You can also use sticker paper for the candy wraps….just remember though, it won’t be very forgiving. Once it sticks it’s stuck!
To assemble, put a glue dot on top of a Rolo and then stack another on top. You will need a total of 3 Rolos for each ‘TnT’. Then cut out the TnT pieces and wrap around the stacked Rolos and glue the seam down. Place the TnT candy in the baggie and staple the bag toppers to the top of the baggie.
