I didn’t think I was going to be able to do a Fall front porch this year but with a very small budget and some creativity, I was able to pull something together.
I initially had visions of a wheelbarrow and haystacks with all kinds of pumpkins. Also a bench or a small table and chairs with cute fall pillows and a plaid throw. Oh, and a giant welcoming Fall wreath on the front door.
Most of these things weren’t possible with our budget this year so I took those ideas and did the best I could. I think it turned out pretty cute considering.
I started out with this lantern that I had purchased on clearance at the end of Summer. I added some pumpkins I found at Walmart for a dollar and added some dollar spot starry lights that I already had. While I was setting up, I noticed some tree branches laying in the yard. I snatched them up and added them to the decor.
On the other side of the door I pulled a chair from a bistro set that we have out in our barn. It’s waiting for a makeover but I knew it would work perfectly for the porch for now.
The scarf was given to me in exchange for some product photography and the big pumpkins I purchased at Target when they had them on sale.
Of course you can’t have a fall porch without mums. I purchased three mums in different colors for less than $5 each.
For the wreath, I didn’t have to purchase anything. I had all of the supplies I needed to put it together. You can see how it came together {HERE}.
All in all I spent less than thirty dollars on the entire porch. It’s not quite as elaborate as I would have liked but I’m pleased with the way it turned out. It still feels welcoming and fall*ish and I had a fun time putting it together!
